Hi everyone I’m new here, I got an African Gray 3 weeks got that I was told he is 5 years old, I was told that I’m the 3rd owner, he has a band on his leg that is AT2936 how can I find more accurate info about is origins, exact age and so on

I don't know that it's a guarantee; I think the breeder gets to choose whether or not he/she registers with the SPBE?

it looks like he is from 2011 his ring is blue, but the color is coming off. but it looks blue
That's for the UK.
Breeders don't always register their bands but if you know the band manufacturer sometimes you can contact them and get the info.

There is also a yahoo group for identifying band information. Yahoo! Groups
