Nothing is a small size yet.

The medium isn't that big. I think it could be ok for your budgies. They would be able to perch on it too. I was actually thinking Rowdy probably would prefer the large one and the Greys would need the XL.

I just didn't get because they would take up too much space in my cage

I think this would be my reason for not getting one. Plus my two would likely be afraid of such big thing in the cage.

I'm getting it for the floor where Rudy plays. I hope the hardware is ss or I'll have to obscure it.

I was thinking they can't all look alike if they are made from Java. I suppose if I got one that was I could add additional hanger bolts if needed. I may also put them on the bottom of the cage. The 3 birds I was going to get them for all like to go down there to play with foot toys, too. And Merlin spends most of the day down there. They wouldn't take up much room in a corner. For Rowdy it might have no choice but to hang up higher or she will poop on it all the time. Merlin and Oobie are pretty specific about where they poop.

It can probably be removed. If they are hanger bolts, which I was thinking they would be, a drill in reverse will take them out.

If I ever bought one of those I wouldn't put it in the cage either. Probably on the floor or on a small table. I wonder how well it would balance on a flat surface.

I didn't try to carry one because I knew they wouldn't work for me. I will see my friend that sells them next weekend at a bird mart. They seem heavy duty though. All looked different since they are natural wood.

the kings foraging station thread which i can't find

Hello Saroj,

The Natural Foraging Enrichment Stations are java wood with natural aspen filler.

The hardware is the same hardware that is used on perches and out of the way of the bird’s beak.

The metal is zinc. We use stainless steel hardware on specialty items only.

The metal is zinc. That's a huge surprise and a disappointment. If no ss then you would think that would at least use nickel and not zinc.

Don't they know by now that we hate inferior materials? Nickel plated or stainless is a must. :shifty: Cheapskates.
