I debated once..... then waited for years for them to come back.

I love the cages for giving my amazons sunshine and giving them a bath in the sun. My cheap travel cages were rusting and didn't feel substantial. When I took the birds out to the car to take to the vet, the cheapo travel cages just felt like they would collapse and I held my hand underneath the cage. Secret always tries to bite through the bars, the kings handles keep her beak away from the fingers that provide her with her needs.

I will say you can buy a bunch of cheapo cages for that money.

My only gripe with kings is the ring is already rusting that holds the bowls.

@Clueless are you happy with the midsize one? I saw in another thread someone used the smaller sized for her greys.

@saroj12 What size are yours?
I have two of the smalls. Best thing I ever bought.
I use them for my Blue-crowned conure and my Goffin.
The G2 fits fine, I'd guess that is Grey-sized. It is just for transport and waiting at the vet, I wouldn't want the G2 in it for more than a few hours without getting out to stretch.

I bought a small one used. I'm familiar with that size. I'm at work or I'd show you the difference in photos.

I bought mediums new as soon as they hit the market. I prefer the medium simply because it gives them a little room to move around in. They're not huge. Even if the parrot is in there for a few hours, you want room to put a toy or two. This is a lifetime purchase.

Like the wingdow, quality lasts.

Oh. When I was away from home during remodel, they lived in the kings cages. I took them out for a few hours at night. Then I wished I'd bought the large..... but common sense tells me that I couldn't haul the large around due to the weight of the cage.

Medium was a good choice for us.

I'm not a spring chicken any more.
