Thank you all for the kind comments! I'll post more photos as his feathers grow out and his coloration "finalizes" - as with any hybrid, you never know what you're gonna get!

Oh my gosh, he/she is absolutely fabulous.

He is a BEAUTY! Absolutely gorgeous! Just look at that precious face!!
But out of curiousity why are they calling it a Quatro when he only has 3 types of macaw in him? Wouldnt a Quatro be a military/GW/Scarlet/BG mix(the 4 major macaws)?

Mercedez - yeah, I agree - 4 different types combined - I'm not sure where they came up with Quatro - he and his siblings are 2/4 greenwing, 1/4 scarlet and 1/4 blue & gold.

There is a Rubalina, which is 2/4 scarlet, 1/4 blue and gold and 1/4 green wing, I wonder if Perhaps a better name for the 2/4 greenwing would be like Rubaquin? Just a thought.. Quatro in my opinion would mean 4 types of blood in the parrot. .. Sorry for changing the subject a little!

I like Rubaquin - I've heard of the Rubalinas. I asked the breeder about it - he had mentioned he thought about Rubaquin as well and he just went with Quatro. Rubaquin is totally fitting, given he's a Ruby x Harlequin hybrid. But yeah, regardless, I'm in awe of his coloring - the red is so pretty - and both of the parents are large so I'm only left to assume that he is going to be HUGE!
He is so pretty. Whenever you get the chance, please keep us update on him and pics too
