I was just wondering if you can keep kaks and cockatiels in together, I've seen a few vids and was just wondering if it is easy to set up, if they are typically agressive towards each other any bad sign etc. I am stuck between getting 2 tiels or 2 kaks, however there may not be 2 tiels left so I'm wondering if I could buddy him up with a kakariki to get the best of both worlds. My cage diameters is H131xW78xD52cm. Thanks for the help.

I don't think I would house them together. Tiels are really laid back birds and often other birds are too aggressive for them. That doesn't mean they couldn't be friends out of the cage. And it might work- but I think I would start by housing them separately.

i agree, having got both i think my kakariki would give my tiel a headache if they shared a cage, also my cockateil gets very hormonal and my kakariki wouldnt be safe as he gets quite nippy. so seperate cages it is.
