I don't know what kind of bird that was but Swallows are famous for chose us human for making their nest.
They are not afraid of us, but they know that often all other birds are so that's how they keep their babies safe. Very smart!
I have had several Swallows in my stable that was breeding their.
Here in Sweden we say that that will bring us luck.
