Speaking of senior birds. This is Jazz (green budgie on left) who is at least 16 years old. He has started to show signs that his life is coming to an end. The last couple of weeks there has been noticeable weakening of his system on a whole.

Hal has been extra attentive and gentle. He is confused as to why his partner is not following him around lately. He knows something is not right. Breaks my heart yet again.

He won't be with us much longer. Keep the little guy in your thoughts.

Rosie has a bad month and then gets better, still aged but better.

When she has sleepy days we leave her in oxygen a few extra hours, it seems to make a big difference.

Sorry to hear about Jazz. You took care of him for a long time and will be there till the end along with his buddy Hal.
All we can ever do is love them and take care of them as best as we can. Nothing can stop the age factor.
