My new camera just arrived

Now I have to wait for the battery to charge before I can try it out - I HATE that!

This is the one I finally chose:

I was tossed between a good p&s with manual control options or lower end dslr (budget wouldn't allow for more). However, the size (of the camera) was the deciding factor since I like to have it with me (e.g. in my handbag) at all times - just in case

I've posted a first few here. Nothing fancy yet, lots to learn with that one.

Currently I've started working my way through the manual (yes, I do read some manuals ) Since it's night and raining outside, Ceddy's asleep and I can't find any interesting subjects, being all cuddled up in my blankey on the sofa, any more 'practice' will have to wait
