It's Gary the Lizard

My friend's brother has a some sort of lizard(blue tongued something...) and we were playing with it today. Well.... her brother and i were, she was mainly taunting it and trying to convince her brother to put it on my head or down his pants... Yea she's a weird one. :/ Anyway, so i was quite proud of myself as i am NOT a reptile person. I am scared ••••less of snakes and while lizards an geckos aren't to bad, i still wouldn't ever have one! However, Gary was difference. I'm not going to lie, he was actually really sweet. After a while of being 'squirmish' around him, i finally sucked it up and held him and let him crawl around on my legs. Also, oh my god, his tongue was so cute and SOFT!

Yea he's a fatty. I joined a reptile forum to ask how much they're supposed to weigh and if they thought he looked overweight and they said he looks a little pudgy but not horribly overweight like i personally think he looks. They said they're fairly round lizards...

They feed him cat food and meal worms.......

The cat food bit seemed a little odd to me but i know nothing about reptiles so i didn't really question it.

Tell them to try crickets. It gives them good exercise while they're chasing around dinner and they're a healthy protein. My savannah ate some canned food too, but be careful cause they are HIGH in fat and if given too much it can cause fatty liver disease. Canned food should not be a primary diet.
