It is possible to have banners removed?

I don't mind the Avenue Veteran banner under my avatar, but the "I can't stop posting!" just appeared and I don't like it.

Is it possible to deactivate the banners for my profile?

I just don't like how cluttered they look. I already have the post count number, why an obnoxiously bright banner too? I wouldn't mind so much if it was at least a matching blue, but that yellow is too much.

It is activated by your posting frequency; not sure if it is gone for good or just happened to be that you fell below the "threshold"
