Oh man, that hits close to home... a few years back we came home from an outing and Aarkie (Border Collie) greeted us with apologetic body language. She is a very expressive dog. She had had a really bad bellyache while we were gone and there were multiple trails of diarrhea all over the floor. We knew she would never have pottied in the house unless it was 100% unavoidable. Poor girl. We had to feed her chicken and rice till she felt better.
