Hello, I will be welcoming home a green cheek Conure soon and was wanted to make a wooden toy with designs and her name. would this be safe to use?:

Why not use a food coloring pen? Since they use their mouths for everything, I'd be hesitant to use anything that isn't food safe.

I personally would NOT use that.

My favorite for color is food coloring gel. You can use a paint brush to paint it right on! Another option would be to get a wood burner, and use that to write and draw on your wood.
