Iron Free Snacks!

My flock LOVES baby snacks but many have iron added.

I did a post on my blog about why iron is dangerous and I listed my flocks favorite baby snacks.

In particular, they love iron free cheerios knock-off which I find disgusting (tastes like cardboard) but they go nuts over it. Best of all birds don't seem to care about stale cereal .

I would give my tiel the iron free fake cheerios too as a treat. He loved them.

I'll admit I almost spit out that cereal when I tried it. But hey it is crunchy, which I think is the part parrots seem to care about
