We picked up this little cutie yesterday, in an hour in a half drive.
The couple that had her breeds parrotlets and the wife said they've been doing it for maybe 6 to 7 years.
Which in my opinion is good, so they're experienced
Shes 9 weeks and hand fed, and I'm absolutely in love
Shes a bit louder that I though she would be , but I can still tolerate it ,
And shes eating fine. Haven't seen her drink yet, but I've only had her since yesterday.
So far she seems fairly energetic and like to hop around .
The breeder clipped her wings, but I'll let them grow out. She just wanted them clipped so she wouldn't fly into a fan or window and hurt herself.
Only thing I'm worried about is that she only eats the white millet and one other seed so far in her mix, but no sunflower seeds or any others in it.
Once she starts eating more, I'll introduce her to pellets, fruits, veggies, etc.
I was also surprised she dosent like millet very much! I think she'll come around Did I mention the breeder kissed her goodbye?
So. Heres a pictures of lil Peanut!
Also, any ideas on getting used to us? Since she doesn't like millet, I'm not sure how to do anything other than sit next to her all day (which I'm almost doing )
She's never seen anyone else other than her breeder, so she's a bit skiddish.
