Video Ink does a "trick"

I've recently created a new youtube account and got all my old videos up.

Here's one of them. My dear, sweet, departed Ink doing a "trick".

The "about" on this video:

This isn't really a trick so much as it is an example of good taming.
For a trick, the parrot has to act with you. As in: you teach the parrot to hang upside down by the feet.
This is me putting Ink into a situation. I'm holding her by the tail and she trusts me enough to allow me to do so.
For this reason I see it less as a trick and more as a feat of taming.

Also she totally isn't 6 months old in the video.
Ringnecks apparently still have their baby eyes at 8 months at least. She was sold to me as being much younger than she was, but I was not aware of it until now. As such, I'll never know what her real age was.

She was a fantastic bird, regardless. And it makes how easy she was to work with even more impressive as she was not handfed or handtame when I got her, either.

Ink was so gentle and tamed!
I remember watching Ink's videos on YT. I still remember Ink and the breeding couple that had no long tail feathers and they were running away from her.

It's so nice that you keep fond memories of her close to your heart

I wish Dante would do that for us.. he came as a wild baby and has tamed down a bit, but he's nowhere near Ink..
