I'm so happy!

I have a big concern with predators.......I have seen a wedge tail eagle snatch many birds out of the air and also pick up numerous huge rabbits and also my aunties dog- twice. Pretty scary stuff and just recently I have seen two wedge tail eagles very close to where I live. I am very worried about safety when outside.

I used to take Curtis, my parrotlet out for walks in one of those Pak-o-Bird backpacks! He loved when we went hiking out around Manitou Springs, he was chirping up a storm at the noise of the running water. It was awesome. It was super expensive but really well made and worth it to get to have him enjoy the outdoors more. This is such a great setup, they look thrilled!

I finally found the wagon I wanted to the right price.
I have been using a 3 wheels bicycle wagon before but my girls didn't like it, most part was that they where sitting so close to the ground. (and no comfort at all)
So I have been searching for a used (can't afford a new one, because they are so expensive) Twin jogger stroller. I wanted air wheels, and the front wheels could be both open and closed. And a side-by-side.
And yesterday I found it!
All I have to do was to clean it and make a small service. I took me 2 hrs and then it was like new again.

So today we was taking the first ride, and they loved it!
I'm using the wagon with my regular carriers (and they are big!) and in the same way as you use the wagon with the "baby part". (see pic, I have no idea of what that is called in English)

First we was going a short ride and then take a small rest so I could spoiled them with some pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
The wagon is so easy to ride, stabile but lightweight (aluminum frame).
After that I was locking the front wheels, and then going for a short jog.
And Eliy was from the first time only looking forward and enjoying the speed and the nature.
I have them covered with the white blanket so they can only see me and forward.
I love that they can be so high up, and they can see me and each other all the time.

Today we where going on a longer trip, and I did some running too.
I tried to record it, but that was not a success at all.
Eliy is so cute holding the bars with her foot when I start to run. (their is no need for that, but she does it anyway)

Our latest trips is socializing trips. Here we are going to an outdoor gym. (no I did not train)
Look how happy Eliy is. She loves our trips. And she both eat and drink when we are out. Akela has started to eat too, but she is not that comfortable as Eliy is.
At the moment our longest trip has been almost 1 hr. They are both so good girls!

I got a cheaper dog stroller for Kody but he didn't like it because it was low to the ground and didn't have a window facing me. I think I need to spring for one of the nicer ones...he tends to have expensive taste.

It was the same with my old, they didn't like it at all.

That is part because she is placed higher and can see me all the time. And she have Akela to the right too.
I talk to them all the time so I guess it feels like home for them.

Today was a bonus day. I didn't think that I was going for more trips this year but today was warm, sunny and no wind.
So we went on a long walk and enjoyed the nice weather.
I made some new and smaller water/food bowls so they still will have a lot of space left in their carriers. And Yes, I love DIY!
