It's a true powder. It is very fine, I can't even say it's dust. It's really not, it's heavier. The trace is very evident by sweeping. It cannot be removed unless you mop. You have to wet dust the room, walls, computer etc.DANG, that really puts their powder poof on display!! Kamara and Kraz make a lot of dust, but not NEARLY that much!
Plugs everything
At the shelter if you try sweeping the floors you'll wind up chasing cockatoo dust bunnies. The trace is very evident by sweeping.
Oh gosh, it wasn't Holiday was it? Not after sweet Zoe!I can only say - that is what goes into the lungs of your macaws, Amazons and conures and other New World Birds and ultimately disables or kills them. There is no cure. There is only palliative treatment. One member here has now lost her second bird to pulmonary hypersensitive syndrome.

And all the more reason why she is in her own room with an air purifier. Door is closed at night.I can only say - that is what goes into the lungs of your macaws, Amazons and conures and other New World Birds and ultimately disables or kills them. There is no cure. I feel ya, when she preens behind me working on the computer after I get up it's all over the place lol and on me!I watch in wonder when Milton preens on the window sill...the dust that comes off of him (and fortunately out the window) is positively amazing!
Combine him with two healthy dustball tiels and you can imagine what goes on here...
Just airflow moving around. It's like the dust coming into a brand new home while other new homes are under const. Hard to explain!..I really can't imagine how that 'too dust gets in the cover of the hanging light in Milton's room...
Air purifier is always a must, the more the better.I can only say - that is what goes into the lungs of your macaws, Amazons and conures and other New World Birds and ultimately disables or kills them.
