#1 is a Fischer's Lovebird.
#2 is a Peachface Lovebird (lutino mutation)

They are 2 different species.

Do you know what the parents were for the first bird? He looks like he could be a hybrid roseicollis/fischeri

Could be pallid... hard to say with no pictures of the rump and wings.

So if its a hybrid meaning he or she could be infertile

Correct, eye ring and peach faced lovebird hybrids are typically sterile and not recommended due to health concerns resulting from inter species hybridization.

Yea It´s just a feeling because the face is like a peach face but has the eye ring of fischeri but the beak isn´t as red.
Pair the bird up with another and you will see if it is fischeri or not.

You may want to amp up security.
Expecially as you breed birds, it is your duty to make sure the adults are healthy therefore producing healthy chicks.
These two strangers could have brought any number of contagious diseases with them, some of which are fatal for young chicks.
This is why quarantine is so important. More so if you are a breeder.

If I were you, pray to whoever you believe in and race the two new guys to the vet for some tests.

I´m hoping for the best for you.

I agree, probably to late to quarantine but tests would be good. The green bird def looks like a peach faced/mask hybrid with those dark cheeks.

Ain´t no probably about it. Unfortunately as soon as those stranger birds entered the colony they were all sharing the same airspace and too late to quarantine.

I would still keep them aside in a spare cage away from the flock. At least ´til you get some results from a vet.

tests would be good
The colony is for breeding, so there´s no choice. Those birds need testing.

@Zara is correct that the first bird is an eye ring and peach faced lovebird hybrid. That means that it is infertile.

@Bobbyzee I don't know if you are aware. Quite a few lovies have tested positive recently for PBFD. That's why everyone is saying vet. If you bring that into your aviary .... you're sunk. :(

Dear friends,

I would appreciate if you could identify my lovebird species on the picture. The seller told me it is a fischer's, but I am not quite reliable on his "expertise" 20190519_144037.jpg

You´re welcome

And also, thank you for identifying sex of my dear Beebo
Sorry, I say ¨he¨ even when sex is unknown, I cringe to call living beings ¨it¨. Sorry for the confusion.
(I called both my hens Lapis and Adelie ¨He¨ for a while before sexing them through pelvic bones backed up by behaviour)
Lovebirds are sexually monomorphic, so to know the sex you will need to do a DNA test. Your vet will be able to help you with that :)
