I have stormy trained now if I pat my tummy or my shoulders he will go there.. So today he was in his cage making a fuss I opened the cage and he went on the perch and I went back in my chair and did my patting and saying come on.. you could see him thinking.. what? She didn't get me! He would pace back n fourth. Do a little wing flap and I would say ya do your flap your wings...flap flap flap.. flap my hands..my husband says I'm nuts..I tell him it's a trick. He kept doing this for awhile then went the top of his cage and I did the pat thing again and he flew down and walked over to my foot and I got him walk up.. Then the phone rang and scared him and he took off! I hate that phone!
