I have held several; some of them are hefty. A lot of smaller specimens than there were years ago, though.

This is Uve at the Iowa Parrot Rescue. He is currently our education bird as he is incredibly friendly and lets anyone hold him and pet him.

OMG...Charlie regurgitates on me and it's clear warm liquid being spilled all over I can't imagine that much!!! I'd be drenched all day! But man...that's a lot of love too. heee heee heee
