I need more help

I know I keep on posting and asking questions but I truly have no idea what I am doing. I am interested in getting a cockatiel, budgie, or caique. Where could I get a caique? I think they are adorable birds and I would love to have one.

If you don't know what you are doing the very last bird you want to have is a caique.

I think it's hard to know what kind of bird you want until you meet some. I believe you said there aren't any rescues near you but I would try to find some places that you can go and meet some birds. Even if it's a pet store. Looking at pictures and reading about them definitely gives you ideas but it's not the same as meeting actual birds. For instance, I never would have guessed how much I like canary-winged parakeets until I got to meet some. Just looking at pictures- they're cute- but not as cute as some other types- but their personalities appeal to me. That's something you can only learn by meeting some birds.

Maybe you should wait for a bird until you learn everything you need to do.
