Sometimes one fish will pluck one or both eyes from another. Triggers are notorious eye pluckers, so are cichlids and oscars. The fish person told me to do 100% water changes, and keep 1% salt and a half dose of melafix in the QT. The worst part has passed, the bleeding, which stopped fairly quick. Generally it heals up, and even fills out some with new tissue. Still sux.Oh no Carole.
What do your fishy people say? I have really old goldfish and about 5 years ago one ????? lost his eye. ( so strange ) He lived another four years, my son called him one eye. They heal really well and quickly. I hope your little one has the same life our one eye did.
