How are you adjusting to the noise? It´s so different to budgies.

I stick by my guess that green J is female and pied K is male. Especially watching J be so noisy and the little nip at 01:59.

I played the video twice and all 3 of my hens were flock calling back to J

Ask me again in a few weeks. They're definitely busy birds today. Maybe I should invest in some noise cancelling headphones?

Same assumption as me. I was thinking of DNAing them, but I don't really want to now. By behaviour they're showing us who they are.

I used earplugs during those times of the day when it gets loud (usually twice a day). They don´t really work, but they take the edge off.
My boyfriend has a different approach, he gets up and leaves the house

I wasn't sure what to expect with this announcement... and yes - HOW could you keep that secret (must have helped sharing it with @Zara ) How precious these birds are, and I just want to play with them the way they happily hop around and stare at you like 'come play with me!'

Fergus and Fiona didn't react much with the video, but they were definitely listening. Fiona was so funny awhile ago, sometimes I stick my finger out even when I don't have millet in the other hand and say - Wanna hop on Mama's finger? Of course Fiona thinks this is hysterically funny, but today - she DID it for one split second, and then hopped back to the door, then the rope perch. She did it just to tease me, I know, and I got so excited clapping and saying how good that was, she sat at the top of her cage and acted like it was a huge deal.
