Shopping spree today! We bought everything we need for Thanksgiving and more bird seed. I have to get Skittles onto a better diet (no thanks to the shelter). Skittles is very picky, anyway i have a question, is it ok to give my birds a little nibble of Turkey?
I ask this because of one thing, story time!
Every year I would give Clicky and Cassie a little piece of turkey, because my grandfather said they could. For 4 years, Clicky had a place at the table for Thanksgiving, Cassie, 3 years.
They had unsalted green beans and limas, plain mashed potatoes (before we added milk, butter, and seasonings) and a little bit of turkey. Last year, Elvis wasn't included in our feast because I had learned more about parrots and their diet. I would like to include my flock in our feast, and was wondering if it was ok to let them have a a little bite of Turkey. The veggies I know are fine for them. Even if it's just a single bite, can they have the Turkey?
