Can they be housed outdoors? Or build a make shift shed for them?

We all know Bobhas abigheart but too much bacon.,...mmm pigs is not good for the heart or Miltons ego!!!
Yeah, we're here in Erie...and yes, w do get dumped on with snow...a lot.

Right now, with Elvis vacationing here, there is absolutely no room for any one else-human or otherwise- at the house...which is a good thing...otherwise I KNOW I'd have to be planning a road trip for piggies...Kathy found out about this thread...:jawdrop1:

I’m not sure what I’d need to do for them being in Michigan. Also if I can squeeze them into the new bird room I could build them a vertical shelf type cage. I will need to see once I move the birdies in.

MI can get very cold to be outside in the winter. Not sure where guineas come from but probably not Alaska.

Its a good temp npw so maybe something could be made for spring summer & have time to figure out a solution but winterin MI would be brutal outside. Could be very hot in summer too.

Still with warm weather coming it would give you more time to find a suitable new home where they could be the center of attention rather than a pet that is just barely fitting in...

You could probably construct a two-level C&C habitat. Even if you have to make a couple of habitats (like a daytime play area and a sleeping one).

Milton has snatched a fly...out of the air...and eaten it.

Protein "on the wing", I guess... and no, I didn't have the guts to try to get it away from him...;)

I need him here as I get crickets sneak in some times...annoying esp at night when they sing...

Rio not a good fly catcher but maybe Penny might like a cricket!

Michigan does get very cold and Peru is their homeland I believe.
It’s certainly not that I do not want to keep them but it is about finding if they will fit in the place provided to keep my youngest safe from things that can kill her. The piggies actually belong to her and my other daughters. This would be be an easy thing to but if the right home is found it would be good for them.
