two days ago, i accidentally closed the door on my parrot. it was a accident and i am so sorry it happened. my heart is broken. i feel horrible. my poor little bird looks like he is traumatized his left eye stays closed most of the time and he is just not his self. i don't know what to do. i am so scared he is going to die. he is eating and drinking water. today he flew to my shoulder but only for a minute and back to cage he hides behind his toys in cage. i am so worried about him. i just want him to be ok.

Sorry to hear this, Bridget. Please take your bird to a vet, even a non-avian vet. If it's been two days without improvement, he likely needs medical attention.
