How to get bird to exercise?

Percy is my blue quaker I got two weeks ago. He seems to always eat and sleep. When he's in the cage, he's at the food bowel, hanging on the perch, or sleeping, when I kick him out he goes to sleep with the puppies or pick crumbs off the kitchen floor. There's no winning with him. I don't quite know how to get him to do things. He gots toys, I try to train him a couple minutes a day, but idk what else to do.

How old is Percy? If youve only had him for 2 weeks, he's really just getting to know you and his environment. A new home is stressful for any animal and its even more so with birds. What is it you want him to do?

How old is he? Has he been to a vet for a wellness check?
