Is there a right and wrong way? Would tube feeding be best?

Tube feeding???? You need to go to a vet if it's come to the point that you're even contemplating tube feeding.

Do you have any experience tube feeding? Why are you considering doing this? If your 'tiel is not eating then best to take to vet. If this is a baby and you need to hand feed then also contact vet or a breeder who know how to hand feed.

Feeding a bird by hand is a skill that must be learned and practiced carefully. It’s not easy. Same with medication. It requires practice.
