But..but !!! And I would NEVER want to be near their around Mardi Gras. The only time I'm down that neck of the woods is Halloween in New Orleans and thats bad enough!!

Mardi Gras in Mobile and Mardi Gras in New Orleans are 2 different things

you can go to Mardi Gras here and have a great time, get tons of beads, lots of good food and beverages and not have to worry about being shot or mugged

it can get a little rowdy in some areas but overall, a safe event - when the boys were little, I used to take them downtown by myself
