Hi all, Boomer is doing great, our oldest son is home on a Fall Break visit, so Boomer has gotten to meet him. Our son thinks we are spoiling Boomer, we don't deny that, but in no time at all our son sees why it's so easy to spoil Boomer.
A pic of Boomer in his new cage.

Piglet is doing what he does most of the day, foraging in his bucket. :cool1:

This is what I do most of the day, pick it up. :D

Here's some of what's in it.

Tweety is up on the valance singing "Three Blind Mice" and screeching. :p

He looks mad in this one. :hehe:

Boomer does look so tiny in his new cage. ;) While our son was here this weekend, he thought Boomer needed a friend to share his cage with, and I've thought about it too, but I'm really not ready right now...when I feel like I'm just a newbie mom anyway. I really want Boomer to feel very secure and totally like this is his home...forever and always, before I even try to throw something else new at him.:hug8:
The foraging bucket looks really neat liltweets, I've been wondering if Boomer would like doing that also. I do hope that someday he will want to be out of his cage to play. And I love seeing all the pics of your birds, seeing what other birds do and like really helps me alot. Thanks!

Question: What does "fids" mean? I've see it thru out the postings, but I can't figure it out. At first I thought, "feathered little loves" but that would be "fll" not "fids".

thanks for the info on how to do the pictures :)

Here are three of my babies, the One on the top of the cage is my Molly, She is a dream my first rescue, have had her just over a year, no idea on her age.

The Pair in the cage are fairly recent rescues Sunshine is sweet slowly becoming more trusting. ( She is the yellow one ) and then Stormy, what to say about that baby boy, He is just like his name getting better though at least he comes out of the cage now and roams around but definatly draws blood Sadly Sunshine and Stormy were totaly cage bound with about 5 other birds in a cage that was not big enough for 7 if i could have taken them all right then and there i would have.

Have to get batteries for the camera for our newest rescue:) He is a dream doing great Loving the other birds around he will step up and snuggle under your chin, once he is out of the cage, dosent like to step up from inside the cage LOL. but he is coming around. He looks JUST like Stormy, will get more and better pictures up soon

I have Greyson who is 6 1/2. He is doing better now that there are other tiels to play with.
Tim is about 4 and joined our flock in June. He is healthy, doesn't bite, but came from a rescue with issues. He thinks Greyson is just okay but he LOVES Chipper
Chipper is a pearly who I got in August at 2 months old. He is doing awesome and has trained US to take him out of his cage to hold him, even when we shouldn't. Everybirdy loves him and he likes everybirdie (but is wary of BB the lovebird who keeps trying to feed him....)

Maxie(with drug resistant giardia) is still holding her own. She appears to be content left alone with lots of millet---We tend to indulge her- at least she has that.

Dusty still is petrified of hands. He gets so happy and excited roaming the outside of the cage and if you whistle and cluck he'll run over stick his head down and behave like he wants a scritch or a shoulder ride. But he can't seem to make that step forward---Move yourself or look up and he runs away. Also, I believe the strange warbling noise is Dusty's attempt to "sing" and not whistle the theme from "The Bridge on the River Kwai".

We need to borrow a human whistler---We all 'stink" as whistlers and Dusty doesn't respond to a recording.!!!
