Funny thread.:laughing12: Another air purifier is the peace lily. Easy to keep indoors too. There is organic soil available btw, you could change out the soil.

don't you mean gorgeous lake, AJ??
 Actually I basically mean what Martine has in her backyard. I want some nice heron visitors and some dragonflies would be nice too :D

I was going to get a palm last year and didn't. I'll just have to get one this year and stuff it into the bird room. See how long it takes them to chew it to death. They also like spider plants. They look nice hanging and the fid's can chew them all up. Nice thing about spiders, becides they help clean the air, is that they grow back quick after the birdies get to them.

I went to get a couple from our HD. Went thru all the palms they had and was about to give up when I got to the last couple on the last shelf. The DH was long gone by then. I found ONE:cheer: I had planned to get two but at least I found one.

I got so confused as to what was safe and what not with all my plants. Then the soil became an issue, so got rid of the lot. That way I had peace of mind.
Even if they were safe for the parrots they would just shred them anyway, so I felt I could not win!
