@Danita For a hospital unit you just need an oxygen concentrator, the water unit for it and either a heating pad or heat lamp. That is basically what a hospital unit is.
Here are examples of used Oxygen Concentrators; Used, Refurbished & Rebuilt Home Oxygen Concentrators
Plastic tub from Walmart or Home Depot.
Heat pad: Be sure it has an automatic shut off
and/or a ceramic heat lamp Infrared Radiant Heat Elements by Avitech - Low Price - FREE Shipping
and a light bulb holder; Fluker's Ceramic Repta-Clamp Lamp with Switch, 5.5-inch - Chewy.com
Humidity Bottle (for oxygen concentrator - be sure it is the one for the oxygen concentrator you buy); Oxygen Concentrator Humidifier Bottles
Oxygen tubing: Oxygen Tubing - 50 Feet - Oxygen Tubing - Oxygen Supplies - Parts-Accessories - get the 50 feet so you can move the box around without moving the oxygen concentrator

It is very simple and has everything the hospital units have - plus you have to buy something to add concentrator oxygen to the ICU unit.

Ask questions.

Remember, putting her on oxygen will only give her temporary relief and help out her vital organs (liver, heart, kidneys, pancreas and brain).

With the number of birds that you have and the ones you are rescuing, you should really, really have an oxygen set up.

What do you mean by hospital unit? Are you looking for humidity and heat or O2?

We could turn that box into oxygen without issue. Use a heating pad for heat
I want more of a living arrangement, where she can live in it rather then sit there sick in it.

I think I will have to create my own. The one below (thanks Wendy) is a little out of my price range :faint:

Like this? Lyon Electric Animal Intensive Care Units (AICU) for birds and other small animals

Perhaps you already have that setup with some modifications as Sarah mentioned,
Wish you luck find the solution that helps you feel better.
Big hug.

My heart can't take anymore rescues, I'm good. She will be my last little waif.

If you want her to live in it 24/7 just get a larger container and turn the O2 down from 5 liters to 3 liters. I looked at aquariums at one time, but none of them have an air proof top.

So sorry Danita. You might be able to find a used AICU. Maybe your vet will have a suggestion of where you can get a unit. Other than that a very large terrarium, aquarium, or storage container.
If you can even find a large travel cage such as a Wingabago but larger since I don't think the large is large enough that might be something to consider.

Understand about the cost thing.
Sounds like you know what things you need to build one to make her everyday life more physically comfortable.
But she might miss being with and hearing the family/flock activities and CoCo? Just wondering.

Please link the new O2 unit you bought that was around the same price as the used ones.

Check on ebay and also businesses that sell used veterinary equipment. I've seen them on there every now and then. I didn't pay retail. Vet sold it to me at their cost with the opportunity to return it and get $$ back after I had used it. I decided to keep it.

I was able to make a top for an aquarium using acrylic.
