So, Tyrallon is happily settled in his palace:

(Pardon the boxes, we are still in the unpacking stage XD )

He spent a while this morning exploring the couch....

He's still not 100% sure of me  He'd much rather spend his time in his cage than with me so far. Can't imagine why. :lol:He is pretty good at stepping up already - it is by no means automatic yet, but I also don't have to chase him more than maybe a step or two backwards, like he's just making sure I mean it. He really loves his scritches, though! As soon as he feels my fingertip on his head or neck feathers, his little head fluffs all up in delight. I can't wait until he gets used to me and starts actually enjoying spending time with me instead of tolerating me in between breaks for his cage hehe.

Such a cutie! Be patient with him. Chirps KNEW how to step up but wouldn't the first couple of weeks. Instead, he would fly onto my shoulder. It seemed a trust thing.

Chirps was in a small quarantine cage until last week. He napped most of his first couple of days here. He loves his toys and is fascinated by the big cage. It's surprising how quickly he takes to change.
