Holly is sick

I have an aapt. today to bring Holly in to the vet. Can anyone tell me what you think it might be, she is shaking her head off and on and just sitting. Loki is trying to play with her but she gets upset so I have her with me. She snuggles in my neck to keep warm. Any ideas

i had a quaker come in that was doing same thing and it turned out to me an ear infection

Could it have been from the fireworks and her still being scared? A lot of the times when birds shake it means either they are cold or not feeling well. Have you tried keeping her warm? When they aren't feeling well it is good to keep them warm. You can do this by a heating pad. I would try to keep her from doing too much moving around too. Is she eating and drinking ok?

Is she bobbing it up and down or is it a side to side motion? Does it look like shes trying to throw up? Is she eating and drinking? What does her poo look like? What time is your appointment? If she's not drinking I would hand drip some water with pedylite into her beak with your finger. I would also make sure she stayed warm with a tented cage and a heating pad set on low under one half.

She shacks her head fro side to side and she yawns also. She is drinking and eating her orange now. The appt. is at 2:00. Her poop looks a little runny. She is staying warm in my shirt after eating some fruit

Denise sounds like ear or sinus maybe. You are doing the right thing. Keep her warm and hydrated. Please let us know what you vet says. Keeping you both in my prayers.
