So both our dogs went for their annual check up. They both got pumped full of vaccinations and they are bonked. We got a call from the vet telling us the their protein levels are up. They said it isn't too much to worry about but that they'd keep an eye on it.
I'm too confused. I've been giving our dogs Blue Mountain natural dog food. Now it looks I have to reduce the amount of protein. I was informed dogs are omnivores and they do need carbs in the form of vegetables and whole wheat bread!
Has anyone else ever had this issue or know more about it? Thanks!
