Okay folks

I talked to the vet yesterday about what the best would be for them.
Really, what I am doing now is. Putting them together in an Aviary, they could just hurt each other. Sending them off to single bird homes, well, the Dr said
that these Amazons have really been losers in life. Coojo has been in at least 7 homes now. Sid a couple. She said Sid is smart enough to know that if he aligns himself with a person, he can stay. Where Coojo never learned that. He is a screamer, he goes on and on and on. I can understand why no one would want him lol
Poor things, she had me when she said "Coojo has always been a loser in his life" Not as an insult, but never had it good.
:(

Poor Coojo. I could smack whomever is responsible for his behavior. He screams way way more than Wasabi. It's exhausting to put up with it.
I seriously would need noise cancelling headphones If W screamed like Coojo.

You've been given a great weight that won't be easy to carry. I wish you the strength to carry it. :hug8:

I honestly don't mind them here, I figure out how to manage them.
I am just worried that they aren't given what they need.
Vet said, all they need is good food and spray baths, don't put your time into taming them, they are just who they are.
I am not officially adopting them, then I have to pay for their vet care.
They just aren't going anywhere now lol

Every bird needs something different. Cujoo is one of those birds that I rant and rave about now and then. You know the ones somebody has screwed up physically or emotionally and some of us fools try to help them and love them.

How's Newman? Does he still scream all day?

Newman is nothing compared to Coojo!!! Newman is white noise to me now, especially after Toos and Coojo lol

Coojo really only screams, or his repetitive WA WA WAH when he sees someone outside the window, or the evening when I am cleaning and getting all the cages sorted. He does it when he is excited, or wants me to be in there, or anything really. If my husband is doing yard work, omg, he goes the whole time, I just close the curtains and he settles. I had to towel him to get him in the cage FAST, because of Lucky for some reason or another, I think to rush her to the vet. He was so upset, and that kind of broke his trust in me a bit. I haven't been able to pet him.

That's all it really is. Just a matter of managing them. They don't need much from you other than everything. :D

No different than a couple of delinquent teenagers.

So is it "Coojo" or "Cujo" like the Stephen King story and movie about the rabid dog? Lol I'm seeing it spelled both ways

Sadly, Sid Vicious passed away last weekend. I heard he was quite old and his heart gave out on him.

The lady that had him is devastated. She thinks it is her fault, I feel so awful for her.
Not that it was, it is just that place we all go, thinking somehow we could have prevented a death.
