Hi everyone,

I'm Steph and I'll soon be a bird mom. I get to pick up my parrotlet later this week and I'm so excited! He's a green-pied pacific. I've been preparing for him <3 We're going to be awesome buddies like Jake&Finn of Adventure Time, hence the name Jake/Jakey! I work and am a grad student; we'll be great companions for eachother. I'll post pics once he's home

Here's my little guy, Jakey, picked him up yesterday. He's about 7.5 weeks old. He tried out some veggies with his millet this morning. He got frustrated that the blueberry wouldn't come off his beak for a while; then found a solution by chewing on some toys!

VERY cute..........love the videos. What size is your cage, it looks like a nice big size for your Parotlet. I'm curious because I am about to get a Lovebird and I really like your cage. Jakey is adorable ay the way! Parrotlets remind me of Lovebirds.
