Thank you! His vibrant coloring really bowled us over the first day that we laid eyes on him.

He just took his maiden voyage around our living room! Talk about a thing of beauty. We're all so in awe of his beauty and his sweet little personality. So far, so good!

Oh wow, he is stunning! I hope he keeps those bright colors after his first few molts. Phoenix lost some of his red, and is now more yellow than he was when he was a baby. Miligolds are really special birds, they sure know how to take advantage of you, but their silly, adorable personalities make it hard to say no to them! They can be a little nippy sometimes, and unpredictable. I think that is the military in them.

Oh, I certainly hope he keeps the red coloring, as it's breath taking to look at. But if he does, well, I'll still love him just the same!
