Well, once you've washed your face and whiskers, behind your ears, tummy and other odds and ends there really isn't any point in sleeping on a heap of dirty clothes, is there? 
I mean, you're all clean and bonny - only a neat heap of clean, folded laundry will do .... you really don't want people cooties on you.

My little dog does that, he has to mess up my neat pile and take a nap in clothes while they are still warm. What a cute photo.
