She has a bit of the darker blue coloring on the tops of her wings when extended, but I couldn't get a good look at underneath without intruding on her boundaries -but I believe it is the same light blue as the rest of her body.

There is a lot of text, so ignore all that if you only have time for the pictures.

I made another forum for this but the page is bugged and I can't edit it with better photos, ect ,ect.

So here is a six week old parrotlet who's sex I'm struggling to determine. She doesn't seem to have the dark blue under her wings, but I am having trouble getting a good look under.

You can see a bit of the darker colors that rim her/his rump and the upper wings when extended, but I don't believe they line underneath.

It's full body, usually the feathers look pastel as above, but with the right lighting becomes darker as below.

I would say female. You can pretty much sex them as soon as they feather out as babies. The blue in the wings and rump is really bold and brilliant. Your bird also lacks the light blue streak behind the eyes.

Without a good look at her rump, I'm going to say female. Some females still have some darker blue on their rump but it still isn't the dark reflective cobalt that males have. A lot of blue males have a lighter blue face mask and your bird doesn't have that. Just a casual look, she appears to be female.

I also think girl,, *IF* pieds hold true to the color patterns. I don't know if that is the case.

Here is my boy, very clear darker blue markings I think. *the forum is giving me a weird error. I will find another photo, or go take one. *
