Stay positive and calm down. Panicing never helps. Keep misting and plave another call to your vet. Sending prayers and healing thoughts! :hug8:

Prayers they cool down and are okay. Can you maybe put some cool compresses on their feet? Maybe wrap a couple of ice cubes in a wash cloth and press against their feet. Or how about filling the bathtub with an inch of cool water and letting them stand in it.

would cold damp towels on the cages help? I know warm towels help keep them warm not sure if the cold damp towels would help them cool off though

and Don't feel guilty! No one ever knows when an Appliance is going to break down it wasn't your fault. and you got a bad feeling and had your uncle go check. Which was the best thing you could of done :)

Yikes! I just saw this thread. I really hope everything is turning out alright. I'm going to have nightmares now, my biggest fear is that something will happen while I'm not home, and the pets will be stuck inside! :hug8:

Hello ALL so sorry I did not respond I took them to the vet they were both dehydrated Petey has the worst of it because he knocked over his water I think trying to bathe in it. The vet gave fluids and looked them over, one we arrived home Petey went to sleep but Elizabeth was screaming for me for a good hour I just gave in a she slept with me I think she really got scared and need my security. Thank-you to all my bird lover friends for the advise and concern in this matter. They are currently doing much better eating fruits and peanuts being spoiled like usual(my doggies are fine tooJ) also I installed a new thermostat so no more mishaps!! I am so thankful to be apart of such a wonderful forum community!! :hug8::heart:
