Hello everyone, I'm new here
I have a cockatiel, Will, who has been with me for a little over a year now. He actually flew onto my lawn one day and I was never able to locate his owner. He seemed to have little trust in people, and a complete fear of hands. It took me about 5 months of daily talking to him to get him to like me, and tolerate hands just enough as a mode of transportation. He still refuses hands, but loves to get scritches from my nose.
Unfortunately a few weeks ago he showed signs of illness, He had undigested seed in his poop. Many vet visits, tests, a gaping hole in my wallet later, the vet believes he has PDD. I will be posting in the health section in a little while to seek some advice and about a particular problem I'm having right now with his picky eating.
I've never really used forums much, so please excuse my clunkiness
