Welcome! It's not safe to burn candles, incense, use Teflon pans or air fresheners around birds. Also, birds sometimes think they can fly through windows, so curtains, blinds or even decals on windows can prevent accidents. And many birds love to chew wires, so be careful when the bird is out that he doesn't try to chew electrical cords, etc.

You also need to be careful with cleaning supplies. I recommend using diluted vinegar as well as a steam cleaner. Do not use fabric softener or products like Febreze.
