Im glad you like the videos. Unfortunetly i have only recently started making videos of the birds i have kept so its a rather small collection. Im currently landscaping our property so im inbetween keeping any birds at the moment but have a new aviary in the works

I have Gouldians. I'm totally Gouldian crazy. Would love to see more photos of yours. I do not have an aviary, as my neighborhood restricts that, but I have a dedicated bird room.

Also share aviary photos with us? Pleeeeease?

Hi , yes gouldians are pretty awesome. Unfortunetly i have just sold my birds in preperation for my landscaping project which meant pulling down my larger aviary in the backyard. I am also going on a holiday overseas so all just made for a good time to have a break from bird keeping. When i get back from my holiday my intention is to get another pair of gouldians while i build a new aviary. I will see what other pics i have on my phone. What is your faveourite gouldian color mutation?? Or do you love the traditional normal birds the most???

I have a perfect place on my lanai (screened in pool area) where there are 3 block walls, also built-in cabinets.... if I could only put screen on that last side I could have an awesome aviary.

Hubby is not in favor. When we had birds out there before we had feathers in the pool. I keep saying if we used a fairly small mesh wire they wouldn't be so bad.

BTW I looked at your videos. Your birds are stunning!

Thanks its great to hear people enjoy my videos. I really only started making them and putting them online for myself as i tend to lose pics and videos overtime. But im happy to share them. I hope to make more soon. Thanks to everyone for their messages!

Since we have a finch thread going here how long do the live? They look so tiny and fragile.

Haha has turned out that way. Aroud 6 or 7 years, they usually breed best for about 3 or 4. They can be pretty hardy but do suffer from cold drafts.... sorry probably not how you spell it.... here in melbourne southerly winds are a big no no for them.
