Hi everyone, I live in south Texas and own 2 adorable conures.

My green cheek (Watney) is about 3 years old and I've had him for about 2 1/2 years. He is very sweet, but has his days. He knows some phrases and silly noises and loves scritches. Watney has a drop wing on the left side preventing him from flying, but he's extremely happy being himself and can flutter if he falls.

My turquoise (Ander) is only 6 months old and I've had him since he was about 5 weeks old. He is silly and fearless of new things in his cage, but very insecure and cautious of the dreaded finger. He's of course currently in training.

Both of them love their baths and eats various fruits as treats, grapes are their favorite. The have a consistent diet of mostly roudybush crumble and some seed. I like to try different fruits when I know they're safe to eat, but it is hard to get these guys to eat greens, however I try! They both melt my heart and are well loved. I grew up with a cockatiel since I was 11 and he is still alive today and with my parents (he's 18 years old and going strong!)

Thanks for having me in this forum!

Yeah loading pictures can be frustrating at times. It took me a little bit to figure out what worked best for me when I was a new member. I use the "Upload a file" button. I'm mostly on my phone but I believe its in the same spot on a computer which is the middle button right below when type. I wish I could be more helpful but I'm not really the person you should go to for technical advice. I'm sure you'll figure it out thou :)

You almost had it right. Imgur works slightly different. With each image, drag the picture up in to the address bar and hit enter. It'll give you the code for the whole image. Then you can post them here just like you did. :)

Here are the images;

:hello1: to you and your cuties!

Rupert loves grapes, too. The jucier the fruit, the better, in his opinion.

To get my littles to eat new things, I pretend to eat something they recognize already (like a grape, or millet), and I make a big show of it; smack my lips and go "Mmmmm, yummy! Want some?" and then proceed to offer the bird a bite. Do that for a while. They'll be interested in what you're eating.

Then you can try finely chopping veggies together. One method is to mash some cooked sweet potato and mix in veggies and form a small ball with the mixture. Then sprinkle seeds on the sweet potato balls. Another method is bird bread. My birds love the Avian Organics bread mixes from Things for Wings. You can add chopped veggies in to the bread mix before baking.
