Tyler is the only hooded parrot I've met, but my experience is that they are great companions but can be pretty hand-shy. He wants to be around me as much as possible, but if you try to force a step-up, he usually ends up flying away. Fortunately, his recall is really good, so it's not a problem.Welcome to the forum!
Not often you see hooded parrots. How do you find him as a companion?
What's not to love! He is gorgeous!View attachment 256339
My parrotlet, Ludde, is in love with the superb parrot, Charlie, and the hooded parrot,.
The parrotlet is 2 and a half, the hooded is almost 3, and the superb is around 6. I've had the parrotlet the longest, a little more than two years now.Welcome to AA. Nice looking flock. How old are they?
