Hello all!

[Caerus the gcc]

Hello. I just met my baby green cheek conure today and put a deposit on her. I created an account here to learn even more about her species. She's yellow sided hatched April 26th. I bring her home in about a month and so anxious about it. She is such a sweetie. I will be visiting her weekly! I have a young budgie who is about 5 months and a cockatiel who is 2.5 years. My conure Caerus will be my first time getting from a breeder and am very excited. Can not wait to bring her home!

Congratulations on your new feathered child. My biggest piece of advice is this- you are adopting a tiny human child with feathers. That's how much this creature will demand from you. I love being a parrot parent but a lot of people get frustrated and re-home their parrots after two to four years.
