Every time baytril has done the trick for LScoot . I’ve come to think of it as the wonder drug. I waited till he stopped eating to get him medical care. Before that he was looking ratty but still eating and playing. It’s hard to know when exactly they get ill, they hide it so well.

Wings are up nice and tight against his sides. Not drooping. It’s working because 100% of the baytril goes in. Previously we used to restrain and medicate with the syringe and it was such a fight, with maybe 40% of the meds going in. He gets Harrison’s slurry via syringe twice a day so I just draw up the baytril before pulling up the food. I give him 0.05 ml twice a day.

Still not 100%. Vet said continue baytril for 14 days total. The techs are coming for nails tomorrow but I’m going to skip LScoot. His beak is overdue but he gets so stressed out.
