He is Sold, Not getting him Hedgehogs and parrots

THere is a lady who needs to rehome her hedgehog. He is super cute and I have always wanted one. I have done a lot of research, I think he would be a great fit, but what about the birds? I would keep him in the bird room.
Is this ok? I don't know if that would work?>

What bedding would you keep the hedgehog on? Sawdust May cause respiratory problems and Fungal and bacterial problems as well.
