When I try to put baby in his cage he walks up my arm and right out of the cage unless he's hungry he does it every time when I put him in for food and water he tries to keep one foot on me while he gets a drink so he can quickly come back to Mom. I have to quickly put my arm up so he can't get out the door and put him on the top perch. He usually steps up quite nicely on the perch and he knows that means there's no way getting around being in the cage. I agree it looks like he's got some suspicion in that look

It all depends on his mood . If he doesn’t want to go in he will run up my arm to my shoulder. He’s very sneaky
